From News Center (Text by Zhang Jinyezi, International Exchange Department (School of International Education); Photos by LiuGong) On the morning of May 27, 2025, a significant event took place in the conference room of the after-sales service building at Guangxi LiuGong Machinery Co., Ltd. (LiuGong). LZPU officially signed a contract with LiuGong, the Ghana Technical University Alliance (GTUA), and LiuGong's Ghana distributor, J.A Plant Pool, to jointly establish a sub-center of the LiuGong-LZPU Global Customer Experience Center. This is the fourth stop for LZPU to cooperate with LiuGong, overseas colleges and dealer companies to build a training center and conduct tailored training of local technical and skilled talents after Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam.

This signing ceremony was Qu Fan, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC LZPU Committee and Vice President of LZPU; Director Huang Guangzhou and General Manager Chen Hao of LiuGong's After-sales Support and Service Solution Department; Zhang Ruitao, Service Director of LiuGong's International Business Department; Li Yi, General Manager of LiuGong's Africa Company; Eshun John Frank, Chairman of GTUA; Adinkrah-Appiah Kwadwo, Vice President of Sunyani Technical University; Nimako-Boateng Adwoa Frimpomaa, Managing Director of J.A Plant Pool, as well as relevant persons in charge of LZPU's International Exchange Department and the School of Automotive Engineering.

At the signing ceremony, Qu Fan expressed his gratitude to LiuGong, believing that LZPU's development benefits from its deep integration with local leading enterprises such as LiuGong. LZPU will continue to support the implementation of LiuGong's comprehensive international development strategy. Chen Hao suggested using Ghana as a hub for connecting West African countries, replicating the successful LiuGong-LZPU model from projects in Thailand and Indonesia. He proposed establishing a training center for LiuGong's West African market to develop talent for infrastructure construction and industrial development in Ghana and the wider West Africa region.

In 2024, LiuGong sold 1,000 construction machinery units in Ghana at one time, marking the largest single overseas order. The President of Ghana attended the handover ceremony and put forward the need for technical and skilled personnel training. To implement the relevant work, LiuGong actively connected with the GTUA and quickly reached a cooperation intention with the alliance, which efficiently facilitated the implementation of the project. The operation of the West Africa sub-center will replicate the cooperation model between LiuGong and LZPU in ASEAN and carry out adaptive upgrades. It adopts the model of "LiuGong equipment + LZPU standards and certification + Ghanaian college venues and teaching + dealer employment", making full use of local dealer resources to drive the overall improvement of the service quality of the dealer system. The launch of this project is another vivid practice of LZPU's international development strategy of "serving the local area, focusing on ASEAN, and radiating the Belt and Road Initiative". It will further promote the international influence of China's vocational education and help made-in-Liuzhou equipment go global.
